Deer Valley has a lovely array of chic establishments in the neighborhood. The culinary scene features a diverse selection of eateries, ranging from grab-and-go joints to upscale restaurants.

Taking inspiration from Austrian cuisine, The Goldener Hirsch Restaurant sources ingredients from around Park City for patrons fresh off the day’s outdoor adventures. Its outdoor terrace and Old World interior are perfect places to sample the restaurant’s local cured meats and artisan cheeses and a glass of wine. Cena Ristorante and Lodge at the Chateaux serves elegant Italian fare on a seasonal basis, and overnight guests receive family-style breakfast for two. At Stein Eriksen Lodge, Glitretind Restaurant, open for dinner and Sunday brunch, brings guests gorgeous views of Deer Valley and a seasonal menu featuring New American fare. Brasserie 7452 at St. Regis focuses on French-inspired cuisine — order the French onion soup with steak frites for a great meal situated on the Mountain Terrace. Rounding out Deer Valley’s resort restaurants, Apex at the Montage serves hearty breakfasts and lunches before transforming into a steakhouse for dinner.

The Brass Tag is a great spot for delicious Italian cuisine, and Royal Street Cafe has a diverse menu of classic items and a beautiful outdoor deck to unwind on. During the winter season, Fireside Dining is one of the best places to enjoy a meal. 
 
Summer concerts at Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater are a blast, especially with Fresh Tracks Kitchen providing bar and dinner service during showtimes. Deer Valley Grocery Cafe is a staple in the community, especially for hosting its creatively themed dinner events
 
Most members of the Deer Valley community take advantage of its prime location to visit surrounding neighborhoods for their retail needs. While there are a number of signature stores on the mountain, its surrounding region has loads of bustling centers and high-end complexes. Strolling along the Historic Main Street in the Old Town district of Park City is a wonderful way to spend a day. Bursting with sophisticated eateries, contemporary galleries, and boutique stores, it has loads to offer shoppers. There are also plenty of markets and pharmacies nearby for grocery and convenience items. 
 

Things to Do

There are plenty of fun things to do in Deer Valley. Surrounded by a gorgeous landscape of lush natural terrain, most of the community prefers to spend their days outdoors. Deer Valley Resort provides endless accommodations to those exploring the mountain. Famous for its phenomenal skiing environment, it provides an incredible array of trails for skiers of all levels. Those looking to learn how to ski can book a lesson with the award-winning Deer Valley Ski School. For live orchestral music, check out the Deer Valley Music Festival, the summer home of the Utah Symphony and Utah Opera. Concerts take place in July and August in different venues around Deer Valley. One such venue, Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, has a capacity of 4,000 and gives concertgoers views of the surrounding hillside.
 
While the area is primarily known around the world for its winter scene, summers here are beautiful as well with the wildflowers and greenery of the Wasatch Mountains. Hiking and mountain biking are particularly popular during warmer months. During all times of the year, whether it be for skiing or biking, equipment rentals can be booked right on the mountain. Many people also enjoy exploring the region on horseback through a guided tour. For 360-degree views of the mountains, scenic chairlift rides are always a pleasant experience.
